Weekend Recovery are a fresh blend of Rock and Pop with a healthy sprinkle of punk and grrl power!

Weekend Recovery formed in April 2016 - although the same line up as the Lorin Jane Forster band, after a few chats the guys decided to re-brand as Weekend Recovery. Morphing the songs written by Lorin into balls against the wall, hard hitting tunes Jordan, Sean, Matt and Artur bring everything to life. Weekend Recovery pride themselves as a female fronted band - something severely lacking in the rock industry (although everyone would argue Lorin is more of a lad than the rest of the boys)

The songs are drawn from personal experience, dreams of being famous and of course the frustration of being surrounded by local heroes.

Artur and Lorin began the journey of Weekend Recovery, shortly joined by Jordan (whom we found online) Matt then soon followed, after Artur drove past him and shouted from the window we needed a bass player. After gigging as a four piece for a fews months WR then decided something was missing - that something being Sean - who Weekend Recovery all known for years - who perfectly compliments Jordan's crazy riffs and natural funk

Weekend Recovery released their first single 'Focus' in July 2016 - which has had ample radio plays and strong reviews from the offset - Weekend Recovery pride themselves as a DIY band - with Lorin designing and making hand made merchandise and posters - Weekend Recovery have created a buzz both in the UK and across the pond - where they are set to support Malaysia's No.1 band Hujan in 2017.

Weekend Recovery are set to release their second single "Don't try and Stop me" in early 2017 along with a UK tour...
